Half a century ago, California declared that its coast belongs to everyone. Since then, the Coastal Commission and the public have worked together to uphold that promise. 50 years later, we invite you to join us 1 pm on October 10, 2026, at Junipero Beach for a public celebration of California's coast!
We look forward to marking this milestone with the Coastal Commission, its partners, and everyone who has helped keep California's coast open, healthy and accessible to all!
