Burning Rope at Glasgow Rhythm and Rock festival

Multi award nominated prog blues rock Burning Rope will be part of Glasgow Rhythm And Rock festival on Sunday 15 November
Burning Rope was born from the ashes of multi UK Blues Award winners Catfish after the death of frontman Matt Long in October 2024. The other members of the band wanted to continue to play, write and record together so formed this new band.
Very different from Catfish, they have very much forged their own path, leaning heavily into the prog influences of keyboard player and Matt’s dad Paul Long and bass player Adam Pyke. Both their albums went to no 1 in the IBBA blues playlist charts.
Join them if you can
