About this Event

About This Event

Join the Heritage Network for a dedicated North East networking day, bringing together not-for-profit organisations and community champions working with—or from—historic buildings across the region.

Hosted at the iconic Redhills Miners Hall in Durham, this interactive day offers a chance to connect with peers, gain fresh perspectives, and explore both leading and emerging heritage projects shaping the North East.

What to Expect

  • Inspiring Talks: Hear from community leaders and heritage specialists revitalising historic buildings, sites, and spaces for public benefit.
  • Practical Insights: Gather advice, tools, and real-world examples you can apply to your own work.
  • Guided Tours: Discover the story of Redhills Miners Hall and learn from its restoration story and community use.
  • A Practical Workshop with the National Lottery Heritage Fund: helping you to develop impactful, fundable, project plan.
  • Meaningful Networking: Build new relationships, exchange ideas, and strengthen your connections across the sector.

Whether you’re managing a heritage site, driving forward a community project, or simply passionate about the region’s history, this is a valuable opportunity to learn, share, and collaborate.
