Buddhist Workshop: Invoking the Blessings of Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal

Princess, practitioner, and Padmasambhava’s closest disciple and consort, Yeshe Tsogyal is known both for recording the Lotus Born master’s teachings and for her own profound realization. She is considered an emanation of Tara, a female Buddha, and the mother of Tibetan Buddhism.

In this workshop, we will meet Yeshe Tsogyal through key moments of her journey to enlightenment. We will contemplate key instructions Guru Rinpoche gave to her, recite her prayer to him, and practice visualization and supplication to her. When we pray for Yeshe Tsogyal’s blessings, we open to depths of devotion that dissolve the entire structure of ego-clinging that upholds samsara, taking us directly into realization of mind’s nature.
