On Sunday activists bravely entered puppy mill Ridglan Farms and were able to save the lives of 22 beagles who were going to be sold and tortured in lab experimentation. Join us at this week's Meetup to hear from some of the rescuers themselves!More context about Ridglan:
Ridglan Farms is a massive puppy mill that breeds dogs for experimentation. About ~3,000 beagles are suffering inside small wire cages at Ridglan Farms. Criminal animal abuse has been documented at their facility since 2017. After a year long effort to see them prosecuted, they managed to negotiate their way out of felony animal cruelty charges. The breeding facility is set to shut down (to avoid criminal charges) but the thousands of beagles languishing inside are still at risk of being euthanized or sold for cruel experiments. So activists took action to save their lives.
