Attractive lake and surrounding land near the railway line and allotments, converted from a former quarry in the early 1990s. At this time of year, our volunteers clear brambles and other vegetation straying over footpaths, and coppice willow thickets to encourage new growth. This site is managed by Bedford Borough Council, which requires volunteers to register beforehand. Contact us for online registration link. Park cars on road opposite the allotments and meet inside the reserve.
