Stockport Foodie Friday is proud to host the Northern Heat of the prestigious British Street Food Awards on Sunday 23rd August, 12-6pm in The Stockport Market.
We are delivering the event in collaboration with our sponsors Totally Stockport, Robinsons Brewery, South East Manchester and Crewe to Manchester Community Rail Partnerships, who will be encouraging people to travel by train.
We have an unbelievable line-up of the finest street food traders in the North all competing to impress our celebrity judges and be selected to go forward to the British Final at Peddler Market in Sheffield.
Our amazing line-up of judges comprises of award-winning chef Sam Buckley from Stockport's Green Michelin-starred restaurant Where The Light Gets In, food writer Holly Temple who founded the food-focussed Filler magazine and Joe McGrath, creator of Sloppy Joe's podcast and host of BBC Radio Manchester Breakfast Show.
We also need you to help us by voting for your favourite street food trader to crown the People's Choice so please come along to eat, drink and vote!
It's going to be an amazing family friendly day out with delicious food from all around the world, live music, street performance and children's activities.
