Bridgeport Trash Bash

Join the Chicago Maritime Museum and the Bridgeport Environmentalists with local partners Base Cafe and Schulze & Burch this summer to pick up ten thousand pounds of trash to celebrate the museum's tenth anniversary in the neighborhood!

Our first trash bash cleanup will be Saturday, June 6, from 10:00am-12:00pm. We'll meet at Base Community Cafe in the Bridgeport Arts Center and will return there after the cleanup to socialize. Snacks and beverages will be provided!

You can register to cleanup from a kayak or on land! Cleanup supplies and kayaks for 15 people will be provided. This cleanup is 18+ and kayak cleanup participants will be asked to sign additional waivers upon arrival.
