2026 Anti War Action Network Conference

A year ago we officially founded the Anti War Action Network. We have expanded to 27 affiliates who work together on national days of action to grow the anti war movement. We organize to pressure for an end to aid to Israel, to demand an end to US intervention in Venezuela and to end the US war on Iran.

We will meet on July 11 & 12 in Chicago to hear from movement speakers and to learn from each other at activist workshops so we can deepen our skills & strengthen connections across the country between our groups.

Childcare will be available on site.

Attendees can purchase lunch tickets in advance.

HOUSING INFO:

Please complete this form by Sunday, June 7 if you would like to request housing accommodations with an activist in Chicago OR if you are able to offer housing to folks coming out-of state for the conference.

Solidarity housing is for the evening of Friday, July 10th through the morning of Sunday, July 12th. Hosts are highly encouraged to offer housing for the full duration, but if you can only offer housing part of the time, you can still fill out the form.

Out of town participants will be paired with activists we know and trust. We will be in touch about your host match, and you can always let us know if you have any major concerns by reaching out to antiwarchicago@gmail.com.

Filling out this form is not a guarantee that we will be able to match you with solidarity housing. However, we will do our best to match everyone who needs housing, and let you know far enough in advance so you can make alternative arrangements if we are not able to find you to a host.

📅 The deadline to respond to this form is June 7, to give us enough time to match people. If you need more time, please let me or @T (BP/MKP) 🟡 know. Feel free to circulate this to your members who are traveling to Chicago for the conference.

💵 One other thing to mention--we'd like to prioritise offering solidarity housing to folks who cannot afford, or for whom it would be a burden to secure their own housing while visiting, so if money is a non-issue for you, you might consider a hotel or other option. But, don't let this dissuade you if you could really benefit from solidarity housing. Just something to consider :) We're excited to have you all in Chicago!
