Early detection saves lives. Mammograms can detect breast cancer in its earliest stages—often before symptoms appear—when treatment is most effective and less invasive. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Tampa General Hospital is committed to supporting our community in the fight against breast cancer. By hosting these mobile mammography events in partnership with MammoLink, we aim to make screenings more accessible and convenient for the community to take proactive steps toward protecting their health.Event Details:
• On-site 3D Mobile Mammography with MammoLink
• Mammograms are available at no out-of-pocket cost— regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
• No prescription needed
• Ages 35–39 require an on-site risk assessment
• Ages 40+ welcome — no requirements
