Brazilian Zouk Beginner Course (January 2026)

Ever heard of Brazilian Zouk?

This couples dance, originating from Lambada, is characterised by flow, elegance and its beautiful head movements.

Whether you have experience in other dances like bachata or salsa or you've never tried couples dancing before, this course is for you! We will work with you on all the foundations of the dance, giving you the confidence to dance Zouk at our socials and parties.

Every week will include an hour long lesson, as well as half an hour of practice time to increase your freestyling confidence with teachers available to answer questions and practice with. Each month-long course will be tailored to your experience level. So, why not come to all three, build on your existing skills and become a Zouk Legend by April!

No need to have a partner, just pop on down and join in the fun!

Payment:

• Each course is £50 per person for 4 x 1.5 hour classes.
• Early bird price is £40 per person.
• Sign up with a partner for a £10 overall discount! You are not expected to stay within your couple during the classes.
• Tickets are sold by dance role (lead/follow) to ensure role balancing within the class. There is no gender requirement for the role you choose.
