Join us for an exploration of botanical illustration designed for artists of all skill levels. Students will draw from observation and learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting by creating an original botanical illustration. Students will enhance their observational skills by accurately sketching botanical subjects and learn to mix a wide spectrum of colors to create realistic shades. As you explore essential techniques such as washes and layering, you'll gain confidence in working with watercolor. This workshop offers personalized instruction and a chance to connect with nature's beauty through vibrant watercolor, all while providing the necessary materials to help you flourish in your artistic journey.
