Who's a boss? A boss would include Coroners, undertakers, cemetery superintendents, gravediggers, and the stonemasons who sculpted our charming headstones. We'll also introduce you to some unsung heroes whose work and research paved the way for us, our past volunteers of the Old City Cemetery Committee who are now "eternal residents".Notes: - These are walking tours. Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Tours are not typically canceled due to weather.
- Parking is available on the street or at the Riverside Target. We recommend avoiding parking in the Selland's lot across the street from the cemetery to reduce the risk of being towed.
- The Old City Cemetery Committee, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising funds for the restoration and repair of historic monuments and headstones at Sacramento's "Old City Cemetery."
