About this Event
This talk will be chaired by the Rt Hon Charles Clarke, former Home Secretary.
Jagjit will outline how we have not risen well to the challenges of a globalised economy. This failure has contributed to unbalanced and poor income growth for many. Before coming back to Cambridge, Professor Chadha was Director of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research in Westminster (2016–2024), giving him a bird’s eye view of our unfolding economic and political crisis.
Prof Chadha's The Money Minders, published by Cambridge University Press, will be available at the event.
The event is supporting the Nolan Foundation.
A notice to parents with young children, this talk is more suitable for 16 to 18 year olds.
