Books & Blankets: A Silent Book Club + Volunteer Event

Join us for an afternoon of cozy reading, community, & volunteerism as we listen to audiobooks & make tie blankets for Seattle Children's Hospital (SCH).

Bring along an audiobook, headphones, and your lovely self. We'll supply some pre-prepared fleece tie-blankets.

We'll start by getting to know one another a bit, going over the instructions for how to tie the blankets, then settle in with our earbuds and audiobooks to enjoy a cozy afternoon of reading and tying blankets together.

Finished blankets will be donated to SCH through Katie's Comforter's Guild. You can spontaneously attend this event, but RSVP-ing by reserving your free ticket here on Eventbrite will help us prepare the proper amount of materials.

The venue, Ty's Wine & Brew, is a 21+ venue and their drink menu includes several non alcoholic options. Ty's opens right at 2pm so we encourage you to grab a drink when you first arrive and thank you for your patience as we take a minute or two to set up.
