Book to Bedside 2026 - Annual McMaster Internal Medicine Conference
About this Event
Book to Bedside is McMaster University's annual student-led Internal Medicine conference, and we are excited to welcome medical students from across Canada on Saturday, October 3, 2026!
Join us for an engaging day of high-yield learning, hands-on clinical workshops, and opportunities to connect with McMaster Internal Medicine residents and program leadership.
Conference Itinerary:
The morning program will feature:
- McMaster IM program overview with program director Dr. Leslie Martin
- Resident Q&A
- Guest Speaker Presentation by Dr. Jessica Huynh
Following lunch, attendees will participate in their selected afternoon workshops or the dedicated POCUS session.
*Final-year clerks will also have the opportunity to attend a lunch with McMaster Internal Medicine program leadership.

Ticket Options: Please note that all tickets include the cost of attendance and lunch.
General Admission:
This ticket includes access to the morning conference programming and three afternoon clinical workshops.
POCUS:
This ticket includes access to the morning conference programming and the 3-hour POCUS session.
The POCUS session will feature a lecture by GIM attending Dr. Sherwin Wong followed by a hands-on station circuit led by Dr. Wong and senior IM residents. POCUS spots are available to clerks on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that POCUS attendees will participate in the dedicated POCUS session and will not attend any other afternoon clinical workshops.
