How do you navigate a life altering change as an entrepreneur? A death in the family, a major illness, a divorce - let's gather and talk.
About this Event

Networking with a room full of women entrepreneurs is always magical. We're all there to learn and share, and discover new ways to collaborate and ensure we all survive and thrive as business owners.

This event focuses on some of the harder things we face as entrepreneurs, navigating life altering situations when you run a business. There's often not enough time or support to get us through a death in the family, an illness, or your relationship ending. No one but another entrepreneur understands what it's like to try to handle life + a business all at once, so let's gather and share our experiences. Let's learn from each other, and let's make this a time to feel like you're not alone.

The event will feature a speakers panel of amazing women who have navigated major life changes as entrepreneurs:

Karin Schuett is the owner, manager, and licensed Class 1 funeral director of Circle of Life in Dundas. She opened the family-run alternative funeral and cremation service to provide transparent, modern, and compassionate care, in a non-traditional, uplifting environment without high-pressure sales or traditional gloom.

Marley Tufts is a Marketing Strategist, Business Coach, Author, Artist and Speaker bringing you and your business back to life with creativity. Marley is passionate about her community and helping people, and enjoys exploring different ways to work collaboratively to balance out work and life.

Noelle Smith is the owner, manager, head perfumer, product developer and senior curly hair stylist at Ellenoire Boutique and Salon, and has been in business over 30 years. In 2011, Noelle opened a new combined boutique and salon emporium in the 1890's building that formerly housed the old town Post Office in Dundas.

Tickets are $10 and include networking time, speakers panel, coffee & tea and refreshments.

Ticket proceeds from this event go to YWCA Hamilton.

Organized by Hamilton Fempreneurs & Monika Waszczuk of Lean on Me Dundas. Open to women & non-binary entrepreneurs and those thinking of starting a business.
