About this Event
Bonjour! Join us for a joyful family celebration inspired by Bastille Day and French Culture.
Led by the delightful Ms. Margaux, who will share her experiences of growing up and living in France, children will explore the country and celebrate through hands-on activities, including simple French words and phrases, music, famous landmarks, light French-themed treats, and take-homes including a make-your-own French postcard, a make-your-own magnet, and recipe cards for two famous French desserts.
This is designed as a welcoming introduction to another country and culture—not a history lecture. Children will learn through making, moving, tasting, and playing.
Children will:
- Learn a few French greetings and expressions
- Explore well-known French landmarks and symbols
- Complete a French-inspired craft
- Participate in music, movement, and cultural activities
Good to know
A parent or responsible adult must remain onsite for the duration of the event. This is a family enrichment program and is not a drop-off childcare event.
