The Black Girls Govern Mixer is a space for Black girls and young women to connect, build community, and expand their networks. Whether you're interested in government, policy, social justice, or creating change in your community, this experience is designed to help you meet like-minded peers, learn from women making an impact across industries, and explore new possibilities for your future.

More than an event, the Black Girls Govern Mixer is part of our commitment to ensuring that Black girls see themselves reflected in positions of power and influence while building a strong network of civically engaged, purpose-driven leaders.

Who Should Attend?

Black girls and young women, including high school students, college students, graduate students, and early-career professionals interested in leadership, civic engagement, public service, advocacy, social impact, and more. We also welcome established professionals who are passionate about mentoring, building community, and connecting with the next generation of Black women leaders.

Attire: 

Business casual. Guests are encouraged to wear shades of pink or blue, but it's completely optional.

Cost:

This event is free to attend, and registration is required. While there is no cost to participate, we invite attendees to make a suggested donation of $10 for students and young professionals or $25 for established professionals to help support Black Girls Govern's programming and future events.
