Did you know that the most common age for the onset of eating disorders is 12-25 years? Although much more common in females, 10 percent of cases detected are in males.

Often, the challenge for parents is recognising when there is an issue and understanding what action to take. It is important parents recognise the signs and symptoms of disordered eating (which can be tricky), and know when to seek external support.
