Issaquah has a few secrets. Bob Antone knows them all...
On August 8 from 6–8 pm, join us at the Historic Shell Station for a truly special evening as Bob Antone; storyteller, traditional musician, and keeper of Pacific Northwest history and his wife Laura; shares the strange and wonderful story of Gilman, the town that became Issaquah, since 1892.
From giant snakes and Bigfoot sightings to UFOs over Costco, sinking cars, a cursed cabin, and mysteries that have never been solved. Bob weaves every tale together with live music on musical saw, violin, banjo, guitar, and Irish drum.
Bring a chair and settle in. It's free, it's all-ages, and it's part of a beautiful downtown evening alongside Al Fresco on Front and the ArtWalk & Music Stroll.
This performance is also proudly part of the America250 Preservation Program - honoring 250 years of American history through community storytelling.
