The need for blood and platelet donors never takes a day off. While many families are traveling and enjoying summer activities, patients at Children's National Hospital continue to rely on lifesaving blood transfusions every day.
Our blood supply is currently low, and we need donors like you to help ensure that children facing cancer treatments, surgeries, trauma, sickle cell disease, and other serious illnesses receive the care they need. Every donation made through the Children's National Blood Donor Center stays right here at Children's National and directly supports our patients.
