About this Event
Do you wanna have more inner peace + feel more alive, consistently? Find ways to reduce your everyday stress that you can’t find by Googling? What about meeting new friends & having fun doing all that in a pirate den?!
Come hang out at Peace Out's pirate meditation studio for our first ever Black Pearl Mindfulness Bootcamp! This will be a 6-week bootcamp that meets every Tuesday night.
This beginner-friendly bootcamp is designed to be a fun way to get your inner peace on! Each week we’ll do a different themed activity, with a mix of meditation, yoga, mindful eating, workshopping our individual inner peace, and small group games.
This is for you if:
- you’re new to mindfulness OR you haven’t yet found a consistent group of friends to practice it with
- you want inspiration, hacks, or new methods/mindsets/philosophies on inner peace
- you want LESS STRESS, MORE PEACE and ALIVENESS everyday :)
- you wanna go to something that meets consistently
Joining the Black Pearl Mindfulness Bootcamp includes:
- all 6 weeks of interactive mindfulness sessions
- Groupchat to keep in touch w/shipmates in between and share ideas
- each shipmate does a small “Feel More Alive Voyage” for themselves to bring them more inner peace everyday - we’ll be workshopping and helping each other out!
- a custom recorded meditation just for you and your goals!
- free access to Peace Out’s public mindfulness events [ie our mindful speed-friending, breakfast yoga classes, etc!]
Sample schedule [subject to change based on weather/the specific goals of the shipmates! We’ll send out a form before bootcamp starts to learn more about what you’d like to get out of this]
Week 1: Intro party & Pirate Meditation
Week 2: Galley Mindfulness: Breakfast-for-dinner & yoga in the park
Week 3: Battling Pirates: Workshopping Stress Reduction
Week 4: Killing all the ways you slow yourself down in your everyday voyages
Week 5: Hawaiian luau mindfulness: turning life into vacation vibes
Week 6: Voyage/Manifestation party
Located in Union Square Somerville [about a 12 min walk from the Green Line's Union Square station]. Address will be sent the day before to shipmates.

Age range: Our events + classes tend to get mostly people in their 30s and 40s, but anyone 25 and older is welcome. [No children allowed in the space.]
Pirate costumes optional :)
Cancellation/Refund policy: Because this is a small recurring cohort experience with limited spots, refunds are only available up to 21 days before the program begins, though you're welcome to transfer your spot to a friend anytime.

About the Host:
Hi! I'm Alaska (RYT), and I run Peace Out—a high-energy mindfulness club offering fun, peaceful experiences [with themes like Pirates and Luaus] to help busy people reset and feel more alive.
I'm a certified yoga and meditation teacher (300+ hours) who likes helping people find real mindfulness in unexpected ways.
