Rostered ministers are invited to gather for this year’s Bishop’s Convocation, September 14-16, 2026, at United Lutheran Seminary’s Gettysburg Campus. Designed as a retreat-style gathering, this year's convocation will feature presentations by the Rev. Dr. Craig Satterlee on preaching and the gospel, conversations around Holy Communion practices and Licensed Lay Ministers, and a panel discussion exploring disability, deaf, and autism spectrum ministries. You'll also have dedicated time to care for yourself through a variety of wellness opportunities, including walks, tours, recreation, or simply enjoying time for rest and reflection. Evening receptions provide additional opportunities to enjoy the gift of community together.
