Bike ride to Vista Point Trail ribbon cutting
About this Event
For those who can join us for a midday ride on Wednesday September 30, SFBike will be riding from Inspiration Point in the Presidio to the ribbon cutting for the brand new Vista Point Trail on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge.
We've been working with the National Parks Service on a couple of projects within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) for the past few years, including improvements to Fort Mason, Vista Point and Lincoln Blvd. Join us to celebrate a completed project that will better connect bike and pedestrian access from the Golden Gate Bridge to Fort Baker, Sausalito and beyond.
This will be a social pace, no-drop ride. Please bring water, sunscreen, a coat and anything else you might need.
The ribbon cutting starts at 3pm so we will push off from Inspiration Point (Arguello Blvd, across from Presidio Golf Course) around 2:20pm to arrive at Vista Point on time.
Please RSVP to attend.
