Bike Maintenance Class 101 - Kids (A4A)

With thanks to The National Lottery Awards for All, the maintenance workshops we deliver are a very “hands on” approach with those attending actively fixing bikes.

This class is designed to give children an overview of how to maintain their own bikes and carry outt basic repairs.

We will provide bikes to work on, however, participants will be encouraged to bring their own bikes, so they get to know their own cycle.

The workshops are designed to help people to get to know their bike, what the parts are called and what they do, how and what to adjust and fit, how to get the brakes and gears working properly as well as a step-by-step guide to mending a puncture.

Each workshop can be tailored to participants needs, be that absolute beginners or further advanced.
