Sports Bangla proudly introduces the Best Running Event Organizer Award 2026, an initiative to recognize and honor excellence in organizing running events across Bangladesh.
This award aims to celebrate organizers who have demonstrated outstanding commitment, professionalism, innovation, and impact in the running community.
Sports Bangla is a sports technology and event management organization specializing in professional race timing and endurance event support. Founded with a vision to elevate the standard of competitive running events in Bangladesh, the organization delivers accurate and reliable results through advanced chip-timing systems aligned with international standards.
Alongside these professional activities, Sports Bangla remains deeply committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at building a healthier society. As part of this commitment, Sports Bangla has launched a Nutrition Support Program for podium runners, providing nutritional assistance for one year to help athletes maintain their health and performance. This initiative reflects the organization's dedication to supporting and nurturing talent within Bangladesh's running community.
To continue this CSR journey and further contribute to the development of endurance sports in the country, Sports Bangla wishes to recognize the outstanding contributions made by event organizers to the growth of the running community in Bangladesh. Therefore, Sports Bangla is proud to announce the "Sports Bangla Award for Best Running Event Organizer".
The Jury Board will evaluate events organized during the period from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026.
The Award for Best Running Event Organizer will be presented in the following categories:
1. Ultra-Marathon (Above 50k)
2. Full Marathon (42.2k upto 49k)
3. Half Marathon (21.1k upto 41k)
4. Running Event (5k upto 20k)
5. Institutional Running Event Organizer
6. Remote Event Organizer
📝 Application Process
* Organizers must apply to be considered for the award
* Self-nomination is allowed
* Submission of required event details and supporting documents is mandatory
⚖️ Evaluation & Judging
* A structured scoring and voting system will be applied
* Multiple evaluation criteria will be used, including (but not limited to):
* Event organization quality
* Safety & runner experience
* Timing & logistics efficiency
* Innovation & community impact
* Judging will be conducted by a panel of iconic and experienced runners from the running community
Final decisions will be based on combined scores from all criteria.

🏁 Winners will be officially announced and honored at the award ceremony
