This is a beginner's crochet class. No prior experience needed. Students will learn how to hold yarn and a hook, create basic stitches, read and understand stitch terminology used in written patterns, explore the differences between yarn fibers and how the various materials are used, and cover techniques for creating different shapes. Students will follow a given pattern to create a project in class that they can take home.
