Becoming Without Brutality: An Introduction to the AXIS Method
About this Event
There are ideas so deeply woven into a culture that they cease to appear as ideas at all.
They become assumptions.
They become common sense.
They become the invisible architecture through which human beings learn what it means to grow, heal, succeed, belong, and become.
Becoming Without Brutality is an exploration of that architecture.
Not to condemn it.
Not to escape it.
But to see it clearly enough to ask a different question:
What becomes possible when relationship, rather than domination, becomes the foundation for human development?
Drawing from neuroscience, East Asian medicine, human development, trauma theory, and the emerging AXIS framework, this workshop combines discussion, reflection, and experiential exercises to explore how adaptation shapes identity, how fragmentation occurs, and how relationship can become a catalyst for becoming.
Participants will be introduced to the Four Cs of the AXIS Method—Calibration, Coherence, Contact, and Continuity—and a practical framework for understanding the relationship between adaptation, identity, self-concept, and human development.
Because souls rise through contact, not conquest.
