BeachSMART Miramar Community Conversations

Please join the BeachSMART Team on Monday, September 28th from 10:00am until 11:30am at 1536 Miramar, Santa Barbara, CA 93108 to discuss potential beach nourishment Eucalyptus Lane, Oak Creek Outlet, Summerland (Finney Street) and Butterfly Beach.

The team has completed a Draft Alternative Sites and Feasibility Analysis that will be open for public comment later this autumn. The Draft Analysis identified potential beaches along the south coast of Santa Barbara County to place sediment for beach nourishment. The sites were analyzed through a multi-benefit, robust, objective, and repeatable screening process. Sites identified for beach nourishment include Eucalyptus Lane, Oak Creek Outlet, Summerland (Finney Street) and Butterfly Beach.
