When: 27 August, 3:30-5pm
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to sign in.
Location: Penrith Park, at the end of Beacon Point Road (look for the WAI flags)
What to Bring:
Gloves
Weather-appropriate clothing
Sturdy footwear
Friends and whānau!
Join us for a rewarding clean-up event at Beacon Point, Penrith Park.
We’ll be removing rubbish from the beach and nearby trails, a great way to get involved in citizen science as well as protecting Lake Wānaka.
Rubbish collected will be sorted and recorded in the national Litter Intelligence database (by Sustainable Coastlines).
All welcome. Tamariki / children must be accompanied by an adult.
Come connect with nature, do good, and warm up with some tasty food and giveaways. All welcome!
