Ākuhata (August) theme: LGBTQIA+ Stories
Our optional theme for August's book club session is 'LGBTQIA+ Stories', in celebration of Winter Pride Queenstown (15-24 August). Delve into stories of identity, love, resilience, joy and everything in-between, be it tender romance, coming of age, true stories and memoirs, or something that challenges and expands your perspective. Join us for a cuppa as we discuss authors, characters, stories and voices as diverse as the community itself! 🌈📚
Book Club is on the last Thursday of every month (unless otherwise stated). All are welcome & the theme is not strict: you can read/bring/talk about any book you like.
