BBQ Masterclass at Bankstown Bites 2026

Brace yourselves for a BBQ culinary affair with Ben Farley, the founder of The BBQ Cooking School in 2004. Ben loves to share his passion and knowledge for all things food, fire and flavour filled cooking to as many people as possible.

Introducing our new BBQ Masterclass with Ben Farley, happening at Bankstown Bites Kitchen’s main stage from 12pm to 1.30pm on Saturday 25 July 2026.

All Masterclass participants will be guided by Ben Farley and his BBQ Chefs from The BBQ Cooking School creating three delicious meals plus a memorable experience in the Bankstown Bites Kitchen.

What's on the menu?

1. BBQ King Prawns with Nahm Jihm Dressing and Crunchy Salad
2. The Perfect Steak: Bass Strait Sirloin Steak with Feta, Basil and Pea Salad
3. Chocolate Lava Pudding with Cream and Balsamic Strawberries

The following will be provided to all participants on the day:

• BBQ and Food ingredients
• Shared cooking equipment and utensils (between two)
• Shared cooking appliances (between two)
• Apron
• Recipe book

To help fight single use plastic, participants are required to bring three containers with them to take home their BBQ Masterclass dishes (if you haven't already eaten it)

Don’t worry if you’re not yet a master chef, this workshop is perfect for beginners.

Ticket cost: $65 + GST per person.

The workshop is 1.5 hours long and requires standing for the duration of the class. Maximum 20 participants in class.

This class is only available to those 18 years and over. Children cannot take part accompanying adults during the class at any time. This is an alcohol free workshop.
