Pack a picnic, chill the fizz and join the celebrations at the 25th annual Hatfield Park Battle Proms!
- Set in the stately and historic parkland at Hatfield House, this unforgettable outdoor summer concert brings together uplifting live music, historical displays, and spectacular firework displays.
- Sing along to vintage classics with the glamourous Battle Proms Belles, before The New English Concert Orchestra take to the stage with iconic music from film, TV and the musicals alongside inspiring classical pieces you know and love.
- Plus, of course, all the traditional 'last night of the proms' flag-waving sing-along favourites such as Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory and more led by superstar soprano Denise Leigh, all under a sky of dazzling fireworks!

Info: A volley of shots from The Battle Proms Cannons and musketfire from the infantry herald the commencement of the musical programme and the arrival of the Spitfire!

The Musical Programme
Info: The evening continues with an uplifting celebration of inspiring classical favourites, performed by the New English Concert Orchestra, conducted by Douglas Coombes MBE and hosted by popular BBC presenter Pam Rhodes. A carefully selected programme that brings together popular traditional and modern pieces, all perfect for a summer evening! It’s a celebration of much-loved music with favourites from film, TV and the musicals alongside well-known classical pieces.

Spitfire Air Display
Info: The programme's stirring opening pieces are accompanied by the unmistakable sound of the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine as the legendary 1944 Grace Spitfire performs a meticulously choreographed aerial display overhead (weather permitting)
Denise Leigh - Soprano
Info: We welcome back highly acclaimed star of Britain's Got Talent Denise Leigh to perform enchanting pieces from famed operas and musicals. Later in the evening Denise will return to lead the crowd in the all-important proms finale sing-along!
Over 200 Cannons!
Info: Experience the ground-shaking drama of more than 200 cannons fired in accompaniment to Tchaikovsky’s rousing 1812 Overture and our signature piece, Beethoven’s ‘Battle Symphony’. The orchestra’s percussionist ‘plays’ the shots according to the ambitious musical scores, and the Battle Proms is proud to still be the only place in the world where you can hear Beethoven’s 'Battle Symphony' performed as he intended. Add in musket fire from the infantry and choreographed fireworks and you have a unique and breathtaking musical spectacle!
Fireworks Finale
Info: The perfect summer evening closes with the traditional flag-waving proms finale, including favourites Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory with a dazzling firework spectacular!
