Hello! Photography Admirers, Dhaka University Tourist Society is going to arrange a photo competition in "Bangladesh Toursim Carnval 2025". The exhibition will take place on 25-26 February. DUTS is excited to present the “Bangladesh Tourism Carnival Photography Contest”—a celebration of our country’s breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and vibrant heritage. We invite all photography enthusiasts to capture the essence of Bangladesh through your lens, whether it’s the bustling city streets, serene rural landscapes, or vibrant local festivals. The contest is open to all students, and we are eager to see your creative interpretations of what makes Bangladesh such a special place.
Photography Competition: An open call to photographers to capture the essence of tourism through their lenses. Entries will revolve around themes like nature, culture, and adventure tourism. This segment aims to bring out creative perspectives.
Photography Exhibition: A curated display of selected entries from the photography competition. The exhibition will provide a platform for showcasing talent and raising awareness about tourism's role in preserving natural and cultural beauty.

Eligibility: All photographers of Bangladesh
Entry fee: 200 BDT
Submission closed: February 20, 2025
Exhibition date: February 25-26, 2025
Venue: TSC, University of Dhaka
Theme: Promoting eco-friendly tourism and sustainability.

Rules:
1. Must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 3000 pixels on the longer side. Minimum resolution is 300dpi.
2. No watermark or border is allowed.
Submission Process:
1. Each participant can submit up to 3 single photos.
2. Each (single) photo should be renamed to :

****Terms and Conditions Regarding Photo Submission ****
1. Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted if they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud. 2.
2. The photograph must be the sole work of the entrant. By entering, the entrant confirms that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity and that no other party has any right, title, and claim in the photograph.
3. Judges & curators hold the right of altering any selected images. (like, cropping, conversion to black and white, flipping, etc.
4. DUTS & DUPS holds the right to examine the authenticity of the photograph/source material in order to confirm compliance with these rules.
5. DUTS & DUPS can use the submitted photographs for exhibition purposes.
6. Photos with watermarks are not eligible for submission.

Winner: 10,000 BDT + Crest + Certificate
Runner Up: 5,000 BDT + Crest + Certificate
