Join the Sacramento Area Golfers Meetup Group on their six day trip to Banff, Canada in August 2026! Banff is a popular golfing destination due to its stunning natural beauty, including the Canadian Rockies and surrounding mountains, combined with well-maintained and challenging golf courses like the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, in particular, is renowned for its complexity, stunning views, and hospitality.
This will be a 6 day trip with the following itinerary: 1st Day Arrive, 2nd day golf, 3rd day free, 4th day golf, 5th day free, 6th day golf, 7th day Depart.
Hotel: Location will be in Canmore at the Spring Creek Vacation Lodges which are located .3 miles from downtown Canmore near lots of restaurant and grocery options. The lodges are located 2 miles from Silvertip GC, and 5 miles from the Stewart Creek GC. We will get group transportation to each including Fairmont Banff Springs GC which is 20 miles from Canmore.
Approx. Cost: $3,000-$3,200/person which includes golf and accomodation for six nights.
Airfare is not included in the price above. Looks like the best airport is Calgary (YYC). Prices range from $399-$520 for a roundtrip ticket from SMF in August 2025. Prices could be higher in 2026.
