2026 will be the 50th anniversary year of the Banff Bears Rugby Club!
Unofficially but known by those who have worn the jumper as “the biggest Rugby club in the
world,” the bears would love for anyone and everyone who has ever played, coached,
sponsored or cheered on the team to join in a celebratory weekend starting October 2 with a
meet and greet evening, highlighted by an extraordinary Saturday October 3 with two games of
rugby and a formal gala in the evening! With the weekend closing out on Sunday October 4
with a farewell Brunch.
