During this session we will discuss ideas, resources and practical strategies for:

- creating a classroom environment where talk enhances scientific understanding and engagement for all children
- how to use oracy to capitalise on a 'hands on, minds on' approach to practical work
- exploring what progression in science oracy could look like (and take away an editable starting point for science oracy progression)
This event is being facilitated by Dr Rebecca Ellis, Regional mentor, Primary Science Teaching Trust.
The Spires Science Curriculum Hub (SSCH) for Oxfordshire, West and Central Berkshire is led by Claire Hamnett and based at Oxford Spires Academy.
