SCAD’s acclaimed concert series celebrating Black History Month and Black musical artists is back! This February, BAM! Black Artists in Music will honor the influential voices of Black musical artists and their monumental contributions to film in magnetic concerts featuring Grammy Award, Emmy Award, and Tony Award-nominated performers from Broadway, film, and TV.
The SCAD Bee Sharps, the university’s premier vocal ensemble, will join the celebrity lineup alongside star SCAD alumni and students. With iconic hit songs from culture-defining Black artists in gospel, jazz, R&B, soul, spiritual, and blues, as well as spoken word and dance, these uplifting, inspiring, and joyous concert experiences spotlight the rich traditions and innovations of Black music and its influence on the world.
Buy tickets through Friday, Jan. 9, and take advantage of early bird pricing! Tickets are $20 for SCAD Card holders, seniors, and military, and $35 for the general public; tickets will be $45 for the general public after Jan. 9. For more information, email [email protected].
