25.–26. augustil 2026 toimuvad Balti filmipäevad, mille raames jõuavad Kino Sõpruse ekraanile Läti ja Leedu silmapaistvamad filmid. Tänavu tähistavad filmipäevad juubelit, üritus toimub juba 10. korda.
Tegemist on ainulaadse võimalusega end kurssi viia Baltimaade värskeima kinokunstiga, et paremini mõista meie regiooni filmide tugevusi ning kultuurilist väärtust. Näitamisele tuleb valik Läti ja Leedu viimaste aastate mängufilmidest, dokumentaalfilm ning ka lühifilmide programm.
Valitud filmide puhul on kavas kohtumine filmitegijatega, mis annab võimaluse teemasid põhjalikumalt arutleda ning filmitegijatel oma teadmisi ja kogemust jagada.
Üritus toimub paralleelselt ka Lätis ja Leedus, tähistamaks Balti riikide kultuurilist eripära ning Balti keti aastapäeva.
Filmid on eesti- ja ingliskeelsete subtiitritega ja linastused on kõigile TASUTA!
Filmipäevadel osalemiseks tuleb eelnevalt broneerida tasuta pilet Kino Sõpruse kodulehel. Broneeritud piletita pääseb saali vabade kohtade olemasolul elavas järjekorras.
Kino Sõprus asub Tallinna vanalinnas, aadressil Vana-Posti 8.
Balti filmipäevi korraldavad Eesti Filmi Instituut, Läti filmikeskus ja Leedu filmikeskus.

On 25–26 August 2026, the Baltic Film Days bring some of the most outstanding recent Latvian and Lithuanian films to the screen at Kino Sõprus. This year marks a special anniversary, as the event takes place for the 10th time.
It is a unique chance to get to know the freshest cinema from the Baltics, and to better understand the strengths and cultural value of our region's films. The programme features a selection of Latvian and Lithuanian feature films from recent years, a documentary, and a programme of short films.
After certain screenings, there will be meetings with the filmmakers, offering a chance to explore the films more deeply and for the directors to share their knowledge and experience.
The event is held simultaneously in Latvia and Lithuania to celebrate the cultural uniqueness of the Baltics and to commemorate the anniversary of the Baltic Way.
All films are screened with Estonian and English subtitles, and admission is FREE for everyone!
To attend, please book a free ticket in advance on Cinema Sõprus' website. Without a booked ticket, entry is possible in a live queue if seats are available.
Cinema Sõprus is located in Tallinn's Old Town at Vana-Posti 8.
The Baltic Film Days are organised by the Estonian Film Institute, the National Film Centre of Latvia and the Lithuanian Film Centre.
