This summer, join Ballet Des Moines and Friends for an afternoon and evening of joy, creativity, and community. Working together with statewide and local partners, Ballet Des Moines’ Transformations Tour includes an afternoon of dancing, art-making, music-making, and more.- Art-making, science experiments, face painting, and creative experiences centered on the theme of transformation.
- Musicians, dancers, and performing artists from the community share their talents throughout the afternoon.
- Local food vendors and community support organizations participate in the festivities.
- Brucemore Presents showcases celebrated Iowa musicians to kick off the evening.
- Highlights from Ballet Des Moines’ 2025–26 season close out the night.
Family activities open at 5pm, with a free, professional ballet performance starting at 6:30.
