Mount Batur is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas northwest of Mount Agung on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The long and short-distance track brings light to amazing scenic views of Batur UNESCO Global Geopark.
This event will be held in Kintamani, Bali, where the amazing views of mountains, lakes, forests, villages, hot springs, and the friendliness of residents will shape an unforgettable experience. The course runs through mountains, crater rim, lava boulders, villages, and hills with the view of one of the most beautiful calderas in the world.
Bali Ultra Trail is great for the first-time challenger, but also for adrenaline seekers. The course is challenging and technical but scenic and mostly runnable. Cut-off times are considerably friendly but challenging. Every finisher will receive a beautiful medal at the finish line.
Over the past few years, we’ve explored a few magnificent runs in various parts around the world with some incredible humans. For 2025, we’ve decided to head East in order to conquer a volcano in Indonesia & immerse ourselves in the Balinese Culture. Each year we open this up to a small group of like-minded runners & for those who know us well, it’s not about the hardened athlete but all about the journey so we’ve created an itinerary which we believe will allow you to experience a little bit of everything but also the freedom to travel at your own pace. There are distances and challenges for everyone followed by some down time (& some play time) of course, so we hope you can join us on our next epic adventure!
