Back to School Volunteer Day at LEAF Community Garden

We’ll be planting late summer crops and native plants. We are also going to be harvesting summer veggies, composting and starting a Spotify Jam session!

What to Bring

• Closed-toe shoes
• Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• A reusable water bottle (we have tap water)
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen) as needed
• We provide tools, gloves, and guidance—no gardening experience required!
  

Parking:

• Use the eastern entrance (not Nursery Ave.) to the California Nursery Historic Park, the LEAF Community Garden is on your right side.
• There is ample parking inside this entrance.

Bike parking available at the garden.
Public Transit:

• AC Transit Bus 216 stops right outside the LEAF Community Garden. Take the Niles Blvd & Hillview Dr stop.
