Join us for some dirt therapy! We bring together community volunteers & students on hands-on projects that maintain LEAF Community Garden!

Our First Saturday volunteering focuses on essential garden projects including weeding, mulching, and composting.

If your plans change, please cancel your registration so we can open the spot for someone else.

What to Bring

• Closed-toe shoes
• Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• A reusable water bottle (we have tap water)
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen) as needed
• We provide tools, gloves, and guidance—no gardening experience required!
  

Parking:

• Use the eastern entrance (not Nursery Ave.) to the California Nursery Historic Park, the LEAF Community Garden is on your right side.
• There is ample parking inside this entrance.

Bike parking available at the garden.
Public Transit:

• AC Transit Bus 216 stops right outside the LEAF C
