Join us at the LEAF Community Garden as we weave ribbons and stalks of lavender into Lavender Wands
About this Event

Turn freshly harvested lavender into something beautiful and practical.

Join us for a Creative Reuse workshop where you'll learn how to weave fragrant lavender stems into handmade lavender wands. This timeless craft helps preserve the scent of fresh lavender while creating a natural sachet that's perfect for drawers, closets, or gifting.

This class is a part of our Creative Reuse series. Through Creative Reuse, we put materials that would have been thrown away to good use. Our goal is to save and use yarn and other craft supplies that would otherwise be thrown away and use them. Please bring any cotton fabric, yarn, notions, t-shirts, or plastic storage boxes you would like to donate to the class. Donating craft supplies or cash helps us offer this class series for free.
