Lauren is the two-month-old daughter of Joseph and Jessica Haigler, born in October with a single ventricle heart defect, meaning only half of her heart functions. Since birth, she has spent most of her life at Levine Children’s Hospital, undergoing numerous cardiac procedures. Lauren went into heart failure and is now supported by a Berlin heart, a lifesaving device that keeps her heart pumping. She’s currently awaiting a heart transplant and will remain hospitalized until a matching heart becomes available. All proceeds from benefit will be used to provide financial support to the Haigler family to help cover Lauren’s medical expenses.
