Autumn Equinox: A Shamanic Journey into Balance & Belonging
About this Event
As summer begins to fade and the days grow darker, the Autumn Equinox offers us a moment to pause, reflect and find balance.
Join us outdoors at twilight as we gather to mark this seasonal turning point through ceremony, nature connection, reflection and a guided shamanic journey.
The Autumn Equinox is a time when day and night are equal, a natural moment to reflect on balance, change, harvest and transition.
Together, we will create a sacred circle and explore our relationship with the Earth. We will ask:
What happens when we see ourselves as separate from nature and what might change if we remember that we are part of it?
We'll also make space for the feelings that can arise when we think about climate change, grief, fear, anger, love, hope or uncertainty. This isn't about finding all the answers. It's about creating space to acknowledge what we feel and reconnect with our relationship to the living world around us.
A Shamanic Journey to the Fox Spirit
Our guided shamanic journey will invite us to meet the Fox, a spirit of curiosity, adaptability and finding our way through change.
Fox reminds us to be inquisitive, to adapt to our surroundings and to remember that we are not separate from the natural world, but part of it.
You don't need to believe anything in particular to take part. You are invited to approach the journey with curiosity and see what emerges for you.
Who is this for?
This ceremony is for anyone who wants to mark the changing season, spend meaningful time in nature or explore their relationship with themselves and the Earth.
You don't need to be Pagan, spiritual or religious to attend.
Whether you're completely new to ceremony or you've walked this path for years, you are welcome here.
The ceremony is facilitated by Joseph Atiase, founder of Indigo Earth Ceremonies, a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Queer Shamanic Witch and Pagan Priest. Joseph creates ceremonies that are grounded, trauma-informed and welcoming, blending shamanic practice with compassionate, ethical facilitation.
Please be aware, because we are working with the themes of change, separateness and imbalance this ceremony is not suitable for young children.
