From Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, where fire speaks and cacao opens the heart, Tata Francisco brings authentic Mayan tradition to Berlin.

For 7 years, he has walked with Mayan elders and shamans, learning the medicines of fire and cacao directly from his ancestors. These are ancestral rituals in his blood, guided by the Mayan sacred calendar, the 20 Nahuales (the spiritual energy of each calendar day) and13 sacred numbers.

We gather in community around the fire, opening the space and our hearts with sacred cacao, sitting in prayer and looking inwards. You'´ll be guided to release what no longer serves you by offering it to the flames - intentions, offerings such as flowers, seeds or letters, as well as worries and burdens - transforming them into new strength. You will also experience a Mayan herbal cleansing.

Tata Francisco shares the wisdom of the Mayan Calendar, introducing the 20 Nahuales and 13 sacred numbers as a map of life` s cycles. Each participant also receives personal insight: your birth date is used to calculate your Nahual (spiritual energy of the day of your birth), revealing your unique strengths, challenges, and path.

You will leave the ceremony with a lighter heart, a clearer mind, and a renewed sense of connection, as well as a glimpse into the Mayan world, one of the oldest indigenous cultures.
