Join us at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve for an exciting mix of visual arts and outdoor activities in our Summer Camps!
August 17th - 21st: Morning Nature Camp (9:30 am - 12:30 pm) and Afternoon Art Camp (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm) - register for both camps for 20% off!
3 hrs each of Wildlife Art and Outdoor Nature Education - Option to do either program or do both at a discounted rate!
During nature class campers will learn about the importance of conserving nature, Wetland ecosystems, the critters that live here, and more! In the art sessions, campers will use multimedia to create art and craft activities, themes will change with nature programs or match the interests of our campers!
Program Fees: Morning Nature Camp: $225.00, Afternoon Art Camp: $225.00, Both for 20% off $360.00 (full-day campers have a 30 min supervised lunch break in addition to 15 min breaks)
Our camp programs are suitable for ages 5 to 12.
*Please note - campers must have completed kindergarten to participate in our camps. This is a non negotiable requirement for our camps, as per provincial regulations.*
Register for one of our half-day programs (available in either art, nature, or a combination of both) or for one of our full-day sessions for a more immersive experience!
Booking is available through our online platform, Peek or in-person at our Interpretive Centre, staffed daily from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Follow the “tickets" link above to visit our website and navigate to the camp you wish to register for! Selecting and booking this date will register you for the full week! To register for morning or afternoon only, go to our website.
We offer sliding scale pricing for our camps in an attempt to increase accessibility! If you are interested in registering a child or children for our camps and did not think this was something you would be able to afford, please contact our executive director, Camille, at [email protected] so we can work together to make our camps a reality for anyone who would benefit. Please note there is a limited number of sliding scale spaces available per camp.
