STAGEtwo Shorts- The End By A. Rey Pamatmat, Jennifer Haley, Allison More, Dan Dietz, Marco Ramire
Originally written for the 2011 Humana Festival, THE END is a series of 10-minute plays exploring “the end of the world” and what lies beyond. Some dramatic, others funny, these plays all feature themes of enduring promises and new beginnings.
Per the Humana Festival, “THE END is near! Or at least, it always seems like it's near. From forewarning to four horsemen, five wildly imaginative playwrights… explore the enduring promise of apocalypse—and what lies on the other side."
8 separate scenes/monologues, each 10 minutes or less in length.

Auditions will consist of cold reads from the script.
There are multiple characters of varying gender and ages. All are encouraged to audition!
This will be a very short rehearsal period, as all the scenes are 10 minutes or less. Typically, these scenes rehearse, 4-5 times. Schedules will be made by the individual directors with respect to the actor’s availability. Please come to auditions with your availability from auditions through the show dates.
Actors will have a limited tech week process for this show.
There is light intimacy in some scenes. Full intimacy breakout will be provided at auditions. Actors will be able to disclose their comfort levels to the intimacy directors. ANY intimacy will be staged by the intimacy directors.
